About the Seminar
The seminar seeks to examine various aspects of tribal life such as lifestyle, culture, traditions, faith, and language as portrayed by different Telugu writers. Tribal literature reflects the deep and close relationship between tribal communities and nature. It presents their way of living in harmony with forests, land, and natural surroundings. At the same time, this literature highlights the struggles faced by tribal people, including issues related to identity, social inequality, displacement, and marginalization. Through stories, poems, and novels, writers bring attention to their voices and lived experiences. The theme of the seminar aims to understand and appreciate the valuable contribution of Telugu writers in representing tribal society with sensitivity and realism.
