The Centre for Personal Law Studies and the Matrimonial Dispute Resolution Cell of Himachal Pradesh National Law University Shimla is organizing an Expert Lecture on the topic “Succession Laws in India: Gender Justice and Recent Developments with Specific Reference to Hindu Law” at the Moot Court Hall of the University. The lecture will be delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Poonam Pradhan Saxena, former Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur, who discussed important aspects of succession laws, gender justice, and recent legal developments relating to Hindu law. The event will be graced by Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Vice-Chancellor of HPNLU Shimla. The programme was coordinated under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Alok Kumar, Director, Centre for Personal Law Studies. The lecture provided valuable academic insights to students, research scholars, and faculty members on contemporary issues concerning inheritance rights and gender equality in India.
