About the Workshop
Maulana Azad Library, Aligarh Muslim University, is going to organize the Third One Week National Workshop on Open-Source Software: KOHA and DSpace from 9th to 14th February, 2025. KOHA and DSpace are widely used open-source software applications in India and across the world by academic, public, and special libraries for automating day-to-day library operations and for creating, managing, and designing digital libraries and institutional repositories for scholarly digital content. The objective of the One Week National Workshop on Open-Source Software: KOHA and DSpace is to provide participants with comprehensive theoretical knowledge along with practical, hands-on training in the use of open-source integrated library management systems and digital repository software. Overall, the workshop aims to build professional capacity for implementing sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective library systems.
