About the Conference
The Confluence 2026 at NIFT Gandhinagar, scheduled for 30th January 2026, is a research event themed “अस्ति प्रारंभ: स्थायित्व और सशक्तिकरण” focusing on tradition, innovation, and India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. It highlights the integration of fashion, craft, technology, and sustainability, aligning with the ethos of “Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi”. The program includes keynote sessions, interactive dialogues like कला वार्ता with artisans, and parallel tracks on legacy and future technologies. Participants range from researchers, policymakers, industry professionals, artisans, and students, with opportunities for networking, collaboration, and awards for best papers. The day concludes with the Alumni Meet 2026, celebrating NIFT’s community and its role in shaping India’s creative economy.
