National Science Day - 2026

About This Event

On the occasion of National Science Day 2026, the Departments of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Botany will organize academic and outreach activities to promote scientific awareness and innovation. The Department of Biochemistry will conduct student poster presentations on the theme “Sample to Diagnosis,” highlighting the role of laboratory investigations in healthcare. The Department of Microbiology will organize a “Lab to Field” outreach activity at Penamaluru paddy fields, where students will demonstrate the benefits of Azolla biofertilizer to farmers, promoting sustainable agriculture. The Department of Botany will conduct an exhibition showcasing innovative student models, including post-harvest products, herbal cosmetics, medicinal plants, agricultural and AI models, and floral designs. The programme aims to inspire scientific thinking and community engagement.
