About the Seminar

International Pi Day is celebrated every year on March 14 (3/14) to honor the mathematical constant π (Pi). Pi is a special number used in mathematics to represent the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Its value starts as 3.14159 and continues infinitely without repeating. The date 3/14 matches the first three digits of Pi (3.14), which is why this day is chosen for the celebration. On Pi Day, students, teachers, and math lovers around the world celebrate mathematics through fun activities such as solving puzzles, math competitions, reciting the digits of Pi, and eating pies (because “pie” sounds like “Pi”). Many schools and colleges organize seminars, quizzes, and workshops related to mathematics.
